There are many different kinds of ninjas -- their lore is extensive, and their mythos can be grand. A first year student will need to learn of the history and tools that ninjas employed. All would be ninjas will also require education in the 'Kuji-kiri', or special hand signs that are said to empower ninjas to perform their supernatural feats.
