The major of artifact studies is exactly as it sounds... the study of various ancient artifacts. Students in this major will be studying the history of these mythical objects... if there is a history to be had, that is.
There are many ancient, legendary artifacts littered throughout the world -- and some that we don't even know about! The goal of Artifact studies is to facilitate the recovery and understanding of these objects to add to the rich history of both the paranormal and normal worlds.
To this end, first year students will prepare for this noble undertaking by learning about the history of known artifacts, and how to divine the history of unknown objects that may or not be artifacts.
Artifacts may be located in dangerous areas. So it is also advised that first years begin building their mental and physical fortitude through some of the courses that the school provides.
